And a local Pirate note:
The Bucks County Gilbert & Sullivan Society will present the musical comedy

The Pirates of Penzance

Saturday, June 16th @ 2 PM
Sunday, June 17th @ 3 PM

Where: Trinity Episcopal Church
2631 Durham Rd., Buckingham, PA
(corner of Rt. 202 & Rt. 413)
One of Gilbert and Sullivan’s funniest and most popular operettas, it has a cast of topsy-turvy pirates, nobles and police, who strive to maintain strict Victorian virtues in the face of utter silliness, all set to Sullivan’s glorious music!
The singers (and my husband, George Achilles, is among them, playing The Modern Major-General) will be accompanied by members of the Bucks County Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets are $15, and $10 for seniors and students, and can be purchased at the door for each performance. More information is at www.bucksgilbertandsullivan.org.
